Are there any other tournaments you can play?  If not, I wouldn't chance their customer service.   I'd just suck it up and play tonight over spending several hours trying to explain why they are in the wrong and getting nowhere. 

I'd still far rather play there than Stars.  Stars seems to only run unbeatable daily O8 games these days above micro buyins.  4 entries, hyper, ultra late entries or bounty hunter crapshoots.  And when I say unbeatable,  I don't just mean for me.  Any skill edge disappears if they allow teams to enter with 8bbs and effectively let them choose seats.  Wish I had come to my senses sooner.

What a nasty thing you noticed, and I was wondering what was wrong with these stars. I couldn't tell you exactly what was wrong, and then you described it. Thank you.

I don't mind losing the chat box but I will miss not being able to change my seating position.

Has it just changed?  I must have been playing on Friday and Saturday and I could pick seats.  Well I think I'd have noticed if I couldn't, because I always do pick seats, and sometimes move to avoid overlaps.

On the chatbox, I can't remember that not going, but don't think I'd miss it these days.  Years ago we used to all chat on the cash and tourney tables on betfair, nowadays it is just people insulting each other and rubdowns.  Even on O8 tables you don't get the chat you used to.  I think the only place left with a comminity feel is Sky and even there more than half the chat is likely whinging and abuse.  Can't say I'd miss it on Stars and Party. 

Can't see why they'd get rid of chat and keep those throwables, they need to go in the bin together with anybody who thought they were a good idea.  I only ever see them just after bad upgrades and when I need to reinstall.

I just got home and checked a cash table.  I couldn't see a chat box or any way of moving seats.  I haven't played cash there for a long time, so no idea what is normal there.   I guess the chat suppression might have something to do with anonymous tables?

Are you playing cash?  That would explain why my MTT experience differs, but it also updated when I logged in, so maybe it is new??

I guess they just decided chat was a net negative. Just have to deal with all the abuse and ban people and they don't get any money from it. But yeah, just makes it more anonymous and make me want to play live poker again instead!

Not bothered about chat berger, can you choose seat position?
