I was sent this message by a friend today, he had seen it on Facebook;

I have unfortunately some very sad news, Dave Nisbet great friend and regular at DTD and not to mention the best golf day organisers passed away on Friday afternoon. He was playing Golf at Beeston Fields in the morning and collapsed.
I’m waiting to hear the funeral details and if restrictions are in place.
A true gentleman and story teller, he will be sadly missed our thoughts go out to his family.
Nick + the team at DTD

Hard to imagine a nicer fellow. Many of you will know him from DTD, some of you will even remember him from the Gala Notts days. Never seen him get upset with anyone, & was always polite & friendly.

Just a genuinely nice bloke.

RIP Dave.

I got to know Dave quite well in my DTD days. Always had a friendly word for everyone.

RIP Dave.

Very sad. My Dad told me about this a few nights ago.

Dave was a very keen poker player, loved being at Gala and DTD and loved his golf. I actually went on a trip to St Andrews with him about 10 years ago and I can promise you, he had some stories! Such a nice fella, a real friendly people person and he will be sorely missed.

R.I.P. Dave.

Very sad news, thoughts are with his family.

One of the genuinely good people you would bump into on the Poker scene.

Nice bloke who loved his poker and his golf - played at Wollaton for a year or two.

RIP

3 nights a week for 7-8 years gonna get you there. You could always count on Dave to be there if you were heading down for the night.

Lovely fella, never once saw him upset and he was always polite. Didn't know him really, but this is sad news.
