$1,500 Round of Each

Reasonably uneventful, but won a decent one.

Raise    to 1.3k from HJ at 300-600. Button calls

three diamonds. Check, he bets 1,500. Call

three diamonds . I check, he now bets 7k into 6.5k

Feels very suspicious. Presuming that he would have 3bet AK, there's not much that he's repping. Call

Not at all what I'm going to do if he moves in on the river.

three diamonds . Check. He thinks for a quite a while, but checks, and mucks.

$1,500 Round of Each

Sadly, at the rebuy cage. Raise UTG1 to 1.2k from 42k,  4 call.

Pot 7.4k

two hearts. Big blind leads for 2k. I make it 9k from 42k. He calls

two hearts . He has me covered. We have 33k into, 25,200

He bets 3k. His heart starts beating fast. I kind of hate it, but I don't think there's too much we can do. All in, call

He does have it. . No good

two hearts three diamonds

$1,500 Round of Each

Second bullet was sadly fairly quick. 600-1200, Hijack raises to 3k. I have , and 26,200 on the button. Don't really like these spots in these kind of tournaments, but I have to go with it. I sometimes try for the fold by making it less, so make it 15k

He snap moves in, which sounds like bad news. He has . Sigh. No good....

three diamonds

Gutted. These kind of tournaments are actually lovely to have a run in.

To the 10k Stud8 we go tomorrow

Good luck in the Stud HiLo Stu.   Feel like I should be good at the game, but always feel a bit of a fish playing it.

Table looks more encouraging than I thought. Only recognise Dan Heimiller

60.5k. Won a small one, and then we go 4 way where I have

( ) . Other three have  , and

I catch ( ) .

catches the . catches . catches .

Pair of aces bets, calls, i call, folds.

Miss 5th Street. ( ) . Their hands become , and .

Pair of aces bets, guy raises.

Hmm, nasty spot. Obviously I'm getting squeezed, and this will end as four bets to me, but I nearly have the price. Its just about a fold

57k. Ran aces into a flush for a 8k pot.

I might keep the updates brief, as Stud8 takes a while to write out hand histories!

56k. Field is actually more random than you would think. Still only recognise one player at my table. 62 entrants at the moment, my guess is that that will become 150
