Oddly, whilst reading these updates last night, I was watching the Final of the $1,500 2-7 No Limit which was Live Streamed on Poker Go, was utterly fascinating. I never recognized Jason Mercier at first, he's gone from full on hairy to bald.

Thanks guys, day two begins at 1pm.

Table draw is interesting (although I'm not sure can be correct, as it has us as four handed, and other tables as six)

It's:

1) Me

2) Chris Vitch. I hit the irony again of playing the guy who coached me in this game

3) Michael Moncek, monster chip leader. Talk was going round of some completely wacky hands he has played. Although Chance Kormtuh did add "Maybe he'll play normally now he has chips. We'll see.

4) Robert Wells. Who actually comes up as Welsh. A mystery Welshman.

EDIT: I guess actually being 4 handed, we'll get either one or two new entrants. Helmuth has been telling his many fans that he's ready to "hop in." Let's see.

This is my first visit to the new venue, having been absent last year. Being an avid fan of the WSOP, though, I am staying at the Rio, for old time's sake.

I do have one complaint about the new venue. I know that alot of themed Vegas hotels get a bad rep, for being nothing like the place they are meant to resemble. But, with it's friendly locals, helpful staff, and waiters who don't look down their nose at you if you order the wrong bottle of wine, this place "PARIS" is the worst imitation of the lot.

It turns out that an event that they themselves called the COLOSSUS, took them by surprise when alot of people turned up.
