€10000 Main event

Boom, got Kabhrel penultimate hand of day. Thrilled with this one

His opening sizings has been fairly open book. He's talking relentlessly (obviously). The speech to me seems to be that he thinks
I'm nitty. 80% that that's true

He opens but to 2.8k at 1.2kbb. I have in the SB. Sizing probably week. He's 128k deep. I make it 10k

Speech. Call

Two Diamonds. Bet 12k into 23k

Speech. He makes it 24k

It really feels like this is a writing off of me doing anything agressive. Possibly not, possibly he's on a different level.

But I think I have to. Make it 55k

Speech. Call

He has 58k behind, 134k in pot

Two Diamonds

I think it's such a good spot to leverage bluff. If it's what it seems, he's writing off the chance of me doing so. Bet 38k into 134k

Speech. Fold. Phew

 246,500 to finish the day

what a hand. laughed when i saw that you showed him the bluff   https://www.pokernews.com/tours/wsope/2023-wsop-europe/event-13-10-350-main-event-nlh-european-championsh/

(last hand reported at bottom of page)

Hi, sorry for slow update on this. Actually decided

- I couldn't get a clear enough answer on whether you can play the satellite, and just collect the value in cash

- The obvious tournie, the 1k bounty, actually started at 8pm, threatening the night's sleep

-  A rest day felt like a good idea!

No rush (after the tournament win is fine), but would you explain the leverage bluff point for me, please?

38k into 134k, when the villain only has half a pot behind at the turn, leaving 20k behind if he calls: why is this better than shoving?

Not a criticism. Genuinely interested as this seems like a situation where you don't have enough to get a river fold, unless it's total air on his part.

Right, sat down ready to go. Table draw looks encouraging. Kully Sidhu the only bad News. Could do with his 18bb not doubling up

246,500, 452 left of 696, average is 154k

This seems to suggest that they had a much smaller 1b field!

€10000 Main Event

Strangeish first hand.

Raise to 3.4k button. Table chip leader in big blind makes it 18k. Really sigh sizing. Has to be a call

He bets 10k, call. Pot is 50.4k

.

He tanks his decision for literally five minutes. Bizarre

Bets 40k

Honest answer is, I don't know. Obviously a big sizing may leave him thin on value, if it takes away AK. However, AK may be in there if he is unsure on his sizings. I decide to go that 1) I block some obvious bluffs, and 2) There is some arguement to not creating a massive spot with limited info, and keeping a stack

Fold. 220k

3bet KQo but vs HJ. 643r, bet 13k into 24k to try to get the AQ fold. Call. 6438r, he checks. I just about decide to give up. 64382, he bets, I fold. 202k

Win nice vs Sidhu. Raise QT cut-off, sb and him from BB defend. Comes Q729r 4 (driest board in poker?)

Go bet -check -bet, with 12k into 19k on river, and he calls

Seat 4 has said twice, after a pot between others, what his inconsequential folded hand was. Which I think makes a fairly big (positive) difference to the KxxQ decision

Sidhu out
