$10,000 Pot Limit Omaha

66k

Will keep them short. Alot going on at a very good table.

Raise rainbow AAQ4 UTG1. Good pro 3bets CO. Can't four bet call or four bet fold. Call

KJ5 r

Check call half pot

KJ56r

Check check

KJ563

Think about big bet, as a merge of getting AA to fold or value from worse. Goes Check check and I win

200-400(400) now

$10,000 Pot Limit Omaha

Rough

Seat 5 is semi all over the place. Not in an awful way, but he's last years winner, and has definitely brought a strong positive tilt in.

He raises CO to 2k. I call BB with two hearts Two Diamonds

(top set)

I check, he bets 2.5k into 5.2k

Decide to call. Turn SPR horrible on any spade, 2,3,5,7,8. Good things happen later on if I call.

I check, he bets 8k into 10.2k

Standard call

Yuk. Think alot about turning hand into bluff. Queen of spades for top pair with FD blocker nearly as big as King of spades. He's not here to fold though, and ultimately my only target is 87.

Check. He bets 20k into 26.2k

Complicated. Decide to fold. Hard for him to never have it at any point (I.e. to not have SDV)

Second break.  63,500

$10,000 Pot Limit Omaha

Rough times.

Lost 4 pots in a row. Down to 36,700

Last one, 3bet three diamonds cutoff vs lojack at 1kBB, and would have to go with it if he had come back. He called

Was fairly ugly

Decided to just go solver route, and bet 33% to fold. Chance of him check raise bluffing felt small

6k into 18k. He effectively put me all in. Fold

$10,000 Pot Limit Omaha

OUT

Really active cutoff raises to 4k at 1.6kBB.

We have on the button, and 44,100. This is the specific spot.  3bet to 16k. Fairly quick call. He's been transparent enough, that that quick call will often be the obvious kind of hand.

28,100 left, into 36k

Looks nice. We still would rather have a check than an all in from him, as the all ins will be concentrated with the obvious draws (JT8, 865 with or without clubs, etc). Basically, they're likely to be at least 12/13 card wraps, with potential added flush draws.

He's all in. Call

He does have

He has 19 outs twice, we have a 4 out redraw.  He'll be about 55%.

Four more outs.

Big river card incoming. For 92,200.

It feels like every time this Summer we say 'big river card,' then bad news follows

It does.

Sigh. It hurts. It should. As long as I'm ready for the next one.

$2,500 No Limit holdem

Into the 2.5k no limit near end of level 2. Now level 3, which is 200-300(300). 35k to start. Table actually looks very encouraging.  Wasn't quite sure where the standard of a Thursday 2 5k would fall, between a $300 Gladiators and a $10k six max, but this table definitely more towards the Gladiators end.

34,200

Itinerary for today is one more bullet if we need it, and $1.5k seven stud hilo, if we need it.

$2,500 No Limit Holdem

The pain continues, sadly.

200-400(400).

UTG 8 handed  raises to 800 from his 20k. in lowjack.  I have 46k and 3bet to 2.2k.

Young Italian button makes it 5.2k, from his 39k.

All looks beautiful.  It's not a slowplay spot. Would be SPR 2, out of position. To be honest, it just feels like we're getting it in.

All in. Call.

He has .

79,800 pot. Really big spot.

It comes in the window. The

Ah it's painful

Got 8.2k. Just keep grinding

$2,500 No Limit Holdem

It doesn't stop, sadly.

Little back up, to 10.5k

UT1 9 handed raises to 1k at 200-500(500).

I have in the lojack. Feels standard call.

Hijack and button come along.

Raiser bets 1.5k into 6.2k

Feels like a must-slowplay. A call would leave me 8k into 9.2k if heads up. There are, in position, three chances to get it:

1) He hangs himself turn
2) He hangs himself river, after I check behind turn
3) He calls off river after checkcheckcheck

Danger, is of course, to let in a gutshot or pocket pair behind. But, it feels right.

Gutshots

Actually, if I knew someone had a gutshot, it is overall minus EV to let them in, with their implied odds for it all. But gutshots are so unlikely, given they are a 53, 52 or 43 peel.

Pocket pairs

With only two outs, and thus a 5% free card, they aren't even getting the implied odds, so it's right to allow a pocket pair in, for the extra 1.5k.

Obviously if any else of the 3 have an ace, its a situation that plays itself, for all the chips,  and so is of no relevance to think about.

I call, and hijack calls.

.

Raiser checks.  I have 8k into 10.7k

Feels like I must check. If I go two streets of value, it would be for somewhere  near geometric, and they may well find a fold river. Feels like with SPR of 0.75, one street is right, given it still has the advantage of the small chance that the hijack does something foolish.

All check

Clubs incredibly unlikely, with the ace being a club. Given that ace vs ace or better situations still play themselves, I feel I'm effectively value betting against, on a ballpark average, 88 in the hijacks hands, or TT in the initial raiser's hands.

I actually decide to just bet 5k. Complicated spot, but I feel the chance of an double-call increases quite alot, and my estimate is that the 5k is slightly higher EV overall than the 8k.

Just the hijack calls

He has three clubs

(Fine with the flop slow play, and fine with the turn play.  Being results orientated, obviously we get it in anwyay)

Yuk.
