FFS Kev, do they make you read all the rules  Shocked

Thought this was a belter "At Onneley, we want to avoid excessively fussy rules that are applied to users of the course". They then go on to post about a dozen pages and about 5 pdf docs of rules including a full page on who is allowed to drive a buggy. Absolutely classic golf course committee behavior  Smiley

Looks nice, couldn't find a scorecard anywhere on the site guess they ran out of space with all the rules Smiley

I play here https://www.alloagolfclub.co.uk/ nicking off from work early tomorrow for 5.30 tee time midweek medal.

Monday

Decided to play 18 holes today so went to Breadsall Moorlands with Tom. Weather was officially described by the Met Office as a "fresh breeze", though "fresh gale" was nearer the mark. It actually blew my trolley over at one point, and when it blew Tom's hat off it went further than my tee-shot.

Final scores were;

Me; 101/33

Tom; 96/29

Not too bad considering the weather, & I finished Par Par to salvage a modicum of dignity.

I know Eck. 😁 Don't think they have a score card which is strange.

I use hole 19 app now Eck but here's a card from a month ago. I was playing off 28 at the time.

I can't believe how difficult it is to set fire to a driver. I suppose I'll just have to try to lose it on the course tomorrow.

Ralph's place is special. It's the sort of place that you could not create today no matter how much money you had.

The trees are many hundreds of years old, the Stately Hall towers above the Lake & Course, the Course itself is meticulously maintained, & it has a really lovely Clubhouse which, externally, I imagine has remained unchanged for best part of a century.
