Another bad start. Seems to take me ages to get going.

While drilling a pilot hole to fix a fence panel to a wooden post for my elderly neighbour, the bit snapped and what was left drilled in to my hand. A lot of blood but thankfully a clean wound. Swollen atm so will be doing my utmost to reduce the swelling as I tee off at 13.20 on Monday. 🤣🤣. After completing the fence job my first thought was to my golf grip 😁 We're a different breed us golfers.

morning all, hope you're all going great.

the golf bug is truly in me, and having recently gone back into playing poker full time i have time to fill and where better than the course.

im open to rounds (earlier the better) around south yorkshire, east midlands. Im not great, usually shoot around 100. But im improving steadily.

would be more than happy to have some rounds if anyone wants to get some dates in the diary.

I'm terrified of a golf preventing injury.

I remember Tony saying he tripped somewhere and his first thought as he fell were, "Old bloke, broken hip, no more golf."

Morning Mr Trigg.

You'd always be welcome to play down at Breadall in Derbyshire, probably best if we can sort something before Winter arrives. If we have someone who can help you with your golf, we'd expect some poker tips in return. Wink

I actually thought those thoughts before I hit the ground.

Had the same thoughts when you went down at Morley Hayes too.

It's a very real possibility at our ages.

Morning Tony, Wednesday 3rd September until sunday 7th september i will be available to play in the morning if any of those dates suit. Ill be spending the week at Anna's in Ilkeston so that would really suit. The DTD festival is on that week.

I'm OK. I have child-bearing hips.

That would probably work, perfect really, Ilkeston is just ~5 miles & 15 minutes by road from Breadsall. Leave it with me & I'll get back to you.

Yup, that works too.

"bookiebasher" (Jamie Moult) is going to book Wednesday 3rd September, and include Stato.

Do you need a buggy? (We need to book it in advance).

There's a bunch of us actually, so if you ALSO fancy the Thursday or the Friday, I'll set that up too.

Can probably book 3 tee times for the 3 days 3rd-5th around 10-11am .

I can only book 2 weeks in advance .

Put your orders in now and I’ll see what transpires .

Perfect, I'll leave it to Jim to sort from here on in, as he holds the card.

Room for everyone if we play 2 or 3 days, we can rotate.
