Lovely few days ahead for a round. I'm off at 11.50 in a four ball.

Day off for me today as chores need doing, but have played 18 holes Thursday/Saturday/Monday so deffo back to full fitness.

Next outing is Thursday as long as the weather cooperates.

Looks like Teeks has brought some of that Hawaiian weather back with him.

Two blobs on the card and shot 98. Missed a birdie opportunity on a par 5 😡

Travelling to London on Thursday and will be playing a 4 ball at my sons course in Wanstead. Then the both of us are flying to Killarney for a few days of golf. Details to follow later in the week.

Cheeky. Is +5 over handicap useless?

I prefer to say improving, I've been shooting over 100 for fun lately.

Glad to see you're back out on the course, but you need to be careful at your age after all you're heart sh*t going on  😂

i was 24 years old (today) before  i heard the word blob, wish i heard of it back in the 80s no more ruining my round with a 7 or 8+ on the short par 3 18th. I hated that hole as everyone was looking out the window of the 19th

Well I felt fine Kev but it is only 3 weeks since the heart attack and 2 weeks since the stent so I might be going off a bit early.

Also, I was given a bollocking by a good friend of mine so I might have to take heed.

One of my new golfing buddies Mick (early 60's), had a hear attack last Autumn and was probably away from golf for 5-6 weeks. Starting once a week then increasing to two as his stamina levels increased. Now he plays 3-4 times a week.

I think everyone is different, but I feel you're a stubborn type (well just a bloke really) so take care and don't over do it. We're now closer to 70 than 60 remember.

Really looking forward to my next 3 rounds of golf because I will be playing with my eldest son Callum. He's put a lot of work in to his golf game and now plays off 8.3. Really so good to see his improvement.

Staying at his place for 4 nights spending time equally between having fun with our Granddaughter Poppy and watching the Masters.

We play our first game at his club Wanstead GC on Friday morning after dropping Poppy off at nursery. Being joined by two of his friends for a 4 ball. https://wgclondon.co.uk/

Then on Monday we fly to Co. Kerry, Ireland for two days of golf, just me and him. Both courses are pretty special starting in Killarney, playing the Mahoney's point course, just a 10-15 minute drive from our hotel. https://killarneygolfclub.ie/

On Tuesday we drive an hour up the west coast to Ballybunion to play the prestigious old course at Ballybunion GC. It is currently the number one course in Ireland and number 29 in the world. https://www.ballybuniongolfclub.com/

We are both very excited.

Cal recently played the Old Course at St. Andrews.
