also watch out for mike newell
he is great mates with shearer and has a coaching badge which means he can team with shearer and help him thru the early days of management
newell is shearers choice we will soon see if he has much influence

I got a bit at 100/1 when Newell wasnt even quoted on any list. didnt want to put it on as a tip as it is just my own gut feeling.

average price for me on hoddle 19.37 £12.00 and laid 7.56 £34.00
waiting for him to go over 11 again so i can level out but hoddle has been a good investment

Van Gaal has dropped today, only 50 now. Newell 120 is tempting. Hoddle now ruled out.
I don't see the Newc fans loving him though (Newell). Van Gaal or one of the other foreign managers I reckon

Moves agree with you on the Newell factor, I looked this morning and noticed he has already been matched as low as 22.0 (I think), Once news filters around the forums everyone plunges on only to find its a hoax and they drift.

no news on newell but one site today stated O'neil will be offered the newcastle job monday and is likely to take it as the england job doesnt suit his assistant john robertson who is a die hard scot and would never manage england
some people think o'neil will take the newcastle job so his price is going in while overs are drifting
i amstanding firm while i am green although i am green to the tune of £2009 on newell so wont cry if he gets the job
