I have just gone through my normal morning routine of checking my emails, deleting the trash and responding to friends, when i came across an email from Dictionary.com. Now,..being an avid wordsmith and budding wordsworth, I am a subscriber to Doctor Dictionary Word Of The Day email alerts (sad i know.. but its free and i can't unregister - the link doesn't work!) Anyway.... the point to this story is that it looks like our very own cheeky updater hero come modertaer / quiz master extraordinaire Spoony now has his own place in the dictionarry and it seems like they have seen him play poker and well and truly have his number....
Spoony = Foolish, Silly and Sentimentally in Love. - (They have obviously seen him call a raise with K-10, flop top pair and refuse to lay it down to matey boy's A-K. Or raise with KK and continue to bet with an Ace on board! - so next time you do this and lose your chips by being foolish, silly and fall in love with a hand, its forever to be called "doing a Snoopy",........... or is it Spoony?)
