No probs Red, the way I see it is that when you get down top the last 3-4-5-6 (pick any one) the players themselves flatten the payout structure. However mostly this goes from one extreme to another, and in some cases to a completely flat structure.

I myself would rather not deal but really with three of us levelish in chips and a £10k jump from 3rd to 1st I would have to be a huge gambler or extremely rich to ignore the suggestion of an chop

By the by, another thing cropped up last night

They decided to give everyone from 9th to 18th £100 off the top. Why? most people in a rebuy have spent more than £100, its de-minimis to all the runners and we went hand for hand at 19 runners. That level, 400-800, we played 6 hands in 30 minutes as played slowed to a halt. Ludicrous.

All my table of 10 said, "we don't want hand for hand or the £100" yet the supervisor said "its the rules guv" or something similar

So much for adjusting things at short notice!

Dani i agree our structure was way too top heavy. and i know that since grosvenor decided to pay 9 places your gonna get a massive jump between the 10th and 9th place. Yogi tried to implement a flaatter structure DURING a festival and was met with uproar. I Know Dik9 came up witha  slightly flatter structure here that was met with positive responces but when put in action everyone moaned about it.

Unfortunately these decisions are usually made by people who have little idea of the game, and making any changes usually involves a long process of convincing others its right.

There were quite a few issues last week that maybe should have been changed but alas it was outta my hands.

Good luck tho this week, the numbers are looking very good, definately showing the mids is the place to be poker wise
