Just a quick note from me, i am shattered, we did a little celebrating last night that went on till 9 this morning then i had to travel home, eek.

I won't go on and on but i just want it known how much i appreciate the chance blue square took on myself, i think i have proven it was a worthwile investment, infatc myself and Jen started as the outsiders and came 1-2!!! Kudos to BSQ for the chance.

I also want to wish Jen the best of luck in Monte Carlo, i really hope she does well and i have spoken to Tikay, i will be taking Jen's role as an updater in Monte Carlo so will be there to root her on in person Cheesy

I know Jen felt it was cruel to come down to 1 headsup game, as we all know anything can happen in HU, the final game was rather short i will admit, but she deffo had the making of me in the first game we played as i cutely played my JJ on the 9 hi flop to the point that i lost half my chips, lol! Jen got the cards but she played them great, long may it continue!

Another word for blue square, especially Mr Raab, he realised that the last match would be pointless so added a £500 seat for the 2nd place player, it was a great fun afair (last day of school syndrome!) we were all enjoying the champagne bought from the kitty of the previous game (yes we were playing for a seat in monte carlo but Jen and i decided to have £10 on the side aswell to 'sweeten the pot') the higlight of the game was actually the rail, especially the creative sidebetting from River Dave and Mr Parker. It really was good fun and a great way to finish it all of, just like the way it all started!

As Tikay would say, 'it's been emotional'

I am not suprised, i havent been sharing tables with him but the way he has been talking, and from what i have heard he is feeling confident and playing well at the moment, he knocked Jen out on day 1, he made his bullyboy re-steal so she went in with AJ, he called with his small pair of 1's Cheesy

This is the second day of last nights £500 double chance freezeout, to whic The Nun is referring when she says b4Matt, Matt Tyler, has made the final

Tonight is the Omaha comp

Tomorrow is the 2 day £1500 main event, to be live updated by our heroine and the beagle. Runners include all the Usual suspects including Satellite king Mr RED-DOG, and no doubt most of the Unusual suspects too....

From updating the great unwashed masses about the goings on at the big events, to centre stage herself.....it's a great story!

Congratulations Jen

Flushy's post deserves a mention in despatches too, for showing true class when he lost out after coming so close.    to you too, sir.

matches are on hold while john and jen play the £500

How daft is that?
Flushy may as well ahve played the £300 instead of twiddling his thumbs all night if they were gonna suspend it when the others fancy it.

Making criticisms without knowing facts, how daft is that?

They were all due to play the £500, which is why we suspended play. Flushy then decided he didn't fancy playing it and withdrew, even though he was already bought in.
