MTT table Live game at Cincins, Blinds are 300 /600

Your cards,  in the cut off.

We call as the Small blind, Button and BB are wild cards.

Button folds

Small blind Folds

BB Checks

flop

BB checks

We bet  £1000

Now the info we have on the BB is he will gamble, although had tell, any bluff he ran we would never breathe, basically became a statue, Have seen him trap check twice and just call down with the nuts also.

He calls.

Turn is

ok where are we in this hand so far behind or ahead??

I promise this is not a bad beat story, I really want opinions.

difficult to say

you haven't raised pre-flop but neither has he. You can probably discount a big Ace, but not a rag ace

He might be on the flush draw

I think you need to stick a decent in to define your hand firstly, and make him pay for the draw if that is what he has

If he calls, slow down and check fold if its a diamond on the river

If he raises, you will have received the answer you seek

At this point in time, I'd say you are ahead, but who knows

Cheers tighty

Ok we have $3500 in the pot and he's checked to us.

We bet out $2500

He calls quickly.

We have 7.8K left he has 3.8K left

Now my read here is a flush draw, although I am concerned by the quick call.

River card is

He moves all in.

what do we do???

you have 12x BB left

He could have KQ possibly

You are behind to any Ace

Of course he may have a missed draw. If you are not picking up the "he's not breathing" tell then its difficult for you to put half your remaining stack in on that hunch

He also seems like more of a trapper than an aggressor, perhaps you have been trapped by a set all along

To me, its a routine pass....you may still be ahead and you are getting over 3-1 to call $3800 to win $12300, but this is a tournament not a cash game. Pass

Smells like two pair to me - TJ, maybe with the flushdraw, too? AT or higher he would have raised preflop, no? Calling you all the way down to the river is possibly a trap, but then he might as well have re-raised you all-in on the turn instead of giving you the "free"-ish river, if that was his plan in first place?

Well guys the read was for the flush draw, I even announced as much, as soon as i did he became that statue I was telling you about, However the if I call I could very well be crippled.

After much mulling it over, I made the routine pass as tighty said, However I was glad when he turned his cards to show his flush draw  Two Diamonds, It certainly set the tone for the rest of the table.

What I lost in that hand I made back in the following 10 hands, I was up to 22K before the table broke, less than an hour later.

Like I said, not a bad beat, I was sure my read was dead on, and I got confirmation which helped me out.

Cheers for the input guys.
