If you want to see an amazing fight, possibly the best fight of all time, definetly the best fight ive ever watched live. Look for Diego Corrales - Jose Luis Castillo. Unbelievable fight.

Skelton never cheated, he pushed the boundaries of the rules, plus he was robbed IMO
Danny Williams was a true gentleman. On the other hand, Skelton used his head and any other part of his body he could.
After so many rounds of head butting Williams, it was ironic that Skelton was the one with the massive cut on his head at the end.
However everyone see's things differently, but this is how I viewed that fight.
I didn't realise the promoters could make those kind of decisions, I KNOW IT ( about the ring).

Promoters will go to great lengths if they think it will give them an advantage.
My favourite fight of all time Morales vs Barrera (1st ). Although I think the judges got the results the wrong way round in the 1st & 2nd fights.

How did Hamed even get a fight with either of them, let alone go off favourite ?

I not exactly sure on the finer methods of getting things their way, probably the Champion will have the decision. Remember the promoter is mostly their manager too and is looking at the intrests of getting his fighter any type of advantage.
The 2 types of examples I offered are legitamate ways of advantage to certain boxing styles.(ringsize & glove types)

Ralph ,I saw Hamed fight about 11 times live and I tell everyone that he was truly amazing. He was like a piece of rubber. Bending backwards, fighters unable to land a glove on him. What he did to S Robbinson in Cardiff was awesome. Remembering Robbinson had destroyed all other opposition and Hamed had moved up a weight.
This albeit was in his early career when he was hungry, then came the money and the decline.
Id said to friends he shouldnt fight Barrera but Id fancy him against Morrales.
Barrera's work rate was to much and I told everyone I thought Hamed would lose.
Really hope Amir Khan doesnt follow suit, time will tell

Yea, I suppose when alot of money rides on it, the promoter/managers will be willing to do whatever it takes.

Actually I liked Robinson a lot and fancied him to run Hamed close.
He was never the same after that fight.
I also was a big fan of Hamed, I said that he was the best prospect that I'd ever seen !
But he never went on, and clearly thought that he knew it all.

One of the most entertaining fights was against Kevin Kelly. Ended in R4, but alot of action before that.

Cheers! But it's in Manchester (I think)! Madness! American TV must be paying a mint to have them fight in the middle of the night!
