Collins was a true warrior, but truly felt he never wanted to fight Calzaghe. Hence retirement, never understood why?

I may be wrong, but he may have had a head injury.  I remember an interview with him about 4 years ago. He said he was advised by doctors to retire.

Think that was when he attempted a comeback, may be wrong.
But when Calzaghe came onto the scene Collins never seemed enthusiastic about fighting him.

Its hard to compare boxers from different eras, but for me

Sugar Ray , his record speaks for itself.

Leonard or Robinson? Although both of them made their name at lower weights not at Super Middleweight. IMO They both would have been eaten alive by Roy Jones JR

Robinson, of course. Smiley

He might have made his name at welterweight, but his middleweight record is still formidable.

I class Robinson as a Welterweight/Middleweight and his record is very good, but Marvin Hagler is the greatest Middleweight, with the best record, even better than the legend Robinson.
