Mark Bartlog doubles up on the very last hand before the finalists went to dinner and the other tourney started coming back:

He moved his whole stack (between 30 and 40k) in preflop and waited while Tim Miles dwelled about calling on the button.  "I want you to call," said Mark, "So I can double up or go out before dinner."  Call he did, with  , but Mark held  .

Flop:
Turn:    (and Mark was breathing more easily)
River:    and he's up to 80k

Travis seems to be scrapping his way back in. Good Luck to him.

The players are currently on a break.

The construction team are preparing tomorrow's final table in the background.

And here are the busy bees building the thing.  In the background are these big shiny photos which makes the final table look like it's in the London Tonight set.

Simon Hennessey (OUT from the other comp, btw) has some info on Jonathan Plens (he finally has a first name)... On Day One, this guy was apparently the rock of ages, playing in total about six hands, three of which were limp-folders.  When we told Simon that Jonathan was second in chips, he said, "What did he do, double through with Aces??"  Smiley

I haven't seen this happen before. Two all-ins at EXACTLY the same time.

Big TK didn't know which way to turn as he has to announce the hands.

In the end, he opted for table where Antonio Turrisi was all-in with against J Plens'

Board = Two Diamonds

King is his only out.

River =

... which means that Antonio Turrisi is OUT

Then Big Tk moved over the table where David Bagheri and Ernst Hermans were waiting patiently.

David =

Ernst =

The flop gave Ernst a few more outs...

Then the turn offered even more split pot opportunites.

The river however was a blank and Bagheri doubles through.

The action's like buses here.
