Scottish Bob Mitchell, who was the chip leader with about 40k is out. This is how it happened.

He has AJ and the flop is AJT.

He bets, is reraised by his opponent who has about half his chips and goes all in.  He calls and finds out he is up against KQ.

Next hand, he gets 33 and limps. The same guy raises it 1,000.  Bob calls and the flop is A38. Bob bets, oppo goes all in. Bob calls and finds himself up against pocket eights. Set over set and its all over for Bob...

OUCH!

Will find out about Tony in a monent, he was doing well last I saw though.

Julian is out now though

He made a move with for his last 7.5k, reraising Mick Jones 2,200 bet. Mick passed but the big blond called with Ah and Julian missed...

I'm afraid to say that Tony is gone. Don't know when or how, but there are 15 players left.  There is still some British interest in the shape of the two Micks, Wernick and Jones.

Wernick 18k
Jones 35k

As you may have been able to tell, I've had a bit of a recreational break (online sit and go) in the last hour or so, but I will now get back to work...

Scratch that last post, Tony is still going strong on about 40k.  There was another table tucked away in the corner and due to the tournament screen being turned off I only only saw the two tables in the main area.

There are actually 22 left.

4 Brits left

Mickey Wernick - 13k - he just lost a three way pot with Aj v A2 v 33. The threes were good.
Micky Jones - 35k
Tony G - 21k (he's not looking too happy so I guess he's just lost a big pot)
Mikey Tse - 7k - not looking too happy either, he just made the finger across his throat sign to me, which is never good.

Found out how Mikey Tse lost his chips. He had QT in a pot against Ivo Donev. The flop was 9T3. Mikey bet 4k. Ivo moved all in for a total of 11k. Mikey called for another 7k. Ivo had A9 and rivered another 9...

Mickey Wernick has just almost doubled his stack. He called a 1400 preflop raise against one opponent.

The flop was three clubs . Mickey bet 7k. The other guy goes all in for small change more. Mickey calls.

Mickey has

The other guy had

Turn

River......

phew....Mickey over 20k now.

We're down to 2 tables in the €1000. Here's one of them.

Mickey now has 21k
Micky Jones has 29k

The blinds are going up to 600-1200 with a 100 running ante. The average stack is 24k.
