While I am waiting for the tournament to go to two tables, and a list of players go up so I can fill in the blanks of names which nobody seems to know, here's the top of the money payout, just for interest's sake:

1 $611,015
2 $324,305
3 $188,000
4 $164,000
5 $141,000
6 $117,500
7 $94,000
8 $70,500

After the dinner break, 17 players returned along with a few updaters who ran the three or four miles along the Rio just in time to see Howard Lederer heading out in 17th.  With 16 left, I find that Devilfish has doubled through and is now on about 110,000, with Freddy Deeb about the same and Barry Greenstein sitting on what looks like near 400,000 now.  Rob Hollink has 220,000 while the biggest hand of the last half hour involved the doublethrough of John Gordon.  He called a raise from the cutoff, the raiser checked the A 4 Q rainbow flop, Gordon bet all-in for about 50,000, was called.  He had Q 10, his opponent A K.  The turn brought a 10, the river 9 and now he's breathing more easily as they head towards a final table.   Might be a while.

Devilfish had been up and down in chips fairly dramatically in the last half hour or so, and eventually took a stand with A6, which ran into 99, and although the flop brought 6 5 K, the following 7 3 were no help and he had to settle for $16,450.

Patrick Bruel out in 15th, taking $21,150.

Rob Hollink out in 14th

Peter Eichhardtt 13th

Odett Fremilloy, whom I have kept an eye on just fell in 12th, when John Gordon called her short-stacked all-in with a 10 8 of spades.  She showed AQ, but the board ended up 2 8 J 8 6 and she was out, leaving just 11 players remaining.  So final table just around the metaphorical corner.

Err, actually I overlaid, so did Paul Maxfield, so the 4 ball became a 2 ball - Brian Wilson and Dave Colclough.

By the way, I saw Ralph tonight, but not seen Gricey yet.
