Thanks Mel - sorry I have been so lame at replying to stuff - phone a bit dead and anyway Orange France or Orange Monaco or whatever acts a bit funny and provides beeping instead of service some of the time...

I got to wander around not just the poker room but an actual town on this trip - we went in the bit of the Casino de Monte Carlo which you can kind of just walk into.  Like I remember tikay saying last time, it is just mind-bogglingly extravagant and opulent in an old-school way (huge chandeliers, gold columns, big paintings of wispily clad ladies etc.).  In contrast the Monte Bay is all sleek and funny shaped and high ceilinged and brand spanking new.

I haven't had time to read the whole update in detail, but I know a pic of that fountain that looks like a dandelion is up.  Cool.

Jen.

I daren't wish you luck or anything judging by my bokking abilities...  Roll Eyes

How is Blondite Tommy (A2M) doing?

He's on 28.8k after eliminating Jeff Burke (NenoBear)

Tommy raised to 800 from under the gun with A-K, Jeff reraised all-in for 4.5k from the big blind with A-T, Tommy called.

Flop brought a ten, but Tommy straightened and flushened on the river (sooooo greedy)

Brian would have hit a full house if he'd have played his pocket threes. Then the Rookie really would have been up and running.
