Next door to this table is a game of Chinese poker. It's scored on a points system, players in the game i saw were Ram Vaswani, Erik Sagstrom and Patrick Antonious. Patrick is learning the game as he goes.....costly at €1,000 a point!
Ram is up about €60,000.
Is this a skill game or a gambling game?
Can't it be both?
Chinese Poker is an odd game - you generally hear of it being played by absolute top pros for big money. Essentially, each player gets 13 cards and has to split them up into two 5 card hands and a 3 card hand - you then compare all the players' hands with each other and win a point for each hand you beat and lose a point for each hand that loses.
Whilst there is skill in it, the skill/luck ratio is lower than other forms of poker - even at €1000 a point, competent players should just be pushing the money around between each other.
Of course, if you get a moneybags novice who wants to show he can play the big boy's game (Antonius) it can prove very profitable.

There is one of the online poker rooms where you can play Chinese Poker, certainly for play money, probably real as well. Can't for the life of me remember which one though.

Yes Hachem was the victor, he got rather lucky to be honest. €70-€30 split for 1-2 in the end.
