i'm in canary wharf and reports are somewhat sketchy but it would definately appear that a series of serious incidents have occurred across london. not good, and all i want to do now is get the hell out of london and get home but with out the transport links that looks impossible at this moment.

I'm in Holborn. Got evacuated out of the tube on the way here. Seem to have been a number of explosions on the tube network which is now entirely closed. Bus explosion in Tavistock Sq. and possibly more buses not confirmed yet.

I am sorry to report I was caught up in this, as I was ascending the elevator at Kings X on my way to St Pancras to get a train I was affected by terrible fumes from nearby.
A terrible experience. Fortunately after several disorientating minutes amidst much panic I made it to ground level where I sat down and was soon assisted with oxygen by a paramedic. Soon I was breathing normally, sent to the local hospital for a quick check of the lungs and then released
I feel incredibly fortunate to have escaped so lightly, getting to Kings X two minutes later would have made a huge difference, but I don't think I will forget in a hurry some of the sights and sounds I heard this morning.
I went into work because there was no chance of me getting the transport to get home and am now sat here in a daze, clearly able to go home when I am able
My sincerest sympathies to all those more affected than I by this morning's events.

Glad to see your alright tight end........My thoughts go out to all those involved, my prayers to all that have lost their lives, and my eternal gratitude to those who are now risking there own lives to help at this time of great suffering..........it also would seem that there are several trains involved in incidents underground in Russal sq and nr King's cross lets hope further injury can be avoided.
It is too early to point responcibility at any one organization but an Al-quida website has claimed responcibilty............
Now what do all the lilly livered liberal do gooders feel about, seeing other views, leting everyone have there say etc..........
I hope the evil vile perpatrators of such sickening acts are hounded down at meet with the full power of the law....

Obviously I echo the sentiments above to families and people affected by this outrage, TightEnd hope I am glad you are able to write about your ordeal. Somewhat less serious but shows how it can affect so many people, I have an employee who travelled from Elephant and Castle to Croydon and now East Croydon Station is shut he cannot get back. Oh you should be aware that, for those wishing to travel to the Festival, Brighton station is also closed at the moment.
