Having been out of the loop for a few weeks, I'm all a bit disorientated by this outbreak of 3/4/5/6/7 word Poker Stories, but I think I can see what's happened - the 2 Word Poker Story has finally bitten the dust.

I might tell you that this thread caused more discussion & debate - I would say debate, more than argument - between the Mods than almost anything else.

I don't need to tell you who was on what side - the Posts make that clear, but for the avoidance of doubt, my good buddy Iron, who I think earlier in this thread called it "the biggest load of crap on the net", was, I suspect, not wholly in favour of it, shall we say........

My position was this. I did not read it, or subscribe to it. But that does not mean I was opposed to it, & I was most certainly IN FAVOUR of it staying, & argued my case every time it came under attack & was debated by the Mods, which was frequently.

It seems to me that if folks enjoy contributing to it - & some clearly did - why on earth should we remove it? What RIGHT have we to remove it, or lock it, if it remained "blonde-compliant"? None at all, was my view, & I felt it very strongly. If some guys are enjoying themselves in that thread, leave them alone, what harm are they doing anyone?

This is NOT a knock at my fellow Mods, who have, it appears, come to a decision & killed it. My Mods Hat is the same size as theirs, I don't enjoy any extra Mod powers, so that's that, the decision is made, & I don't have the right to do owt about it, nor do I wish or intend to, I'm a Team Man.

But I do think it's kinda sad. It was doing no harm to anyone, & those that disliked it were not obliged to read it.

I say this fellow blondes. Boo-yah to the Killjoys!

Especially at 5am when you are alone, playing poker and in need of some company. Not many blondites are about at that time but I feel happier in the knowledge that Nemesis, Tank, Newmanseye and others will be laughing it up with me on the Two Word Story.
