It looks like Mr Colclough's buddy Stephen Pearce is chip leader with 79,000, if you can take as gospel what someone says when they announce, "I am chip leader.  I have 79,000.  Bet you didn't know that.  Are you even following me?"

No need for your guidance Sonopy, I have been giving dave extra lessons whilst he's been at Cinins.

yes its true

i was called all in reraise with QJ by Shah Koumi.

yes the flop was QQQ and a rivered 4 was no help. Thats my luck at the moment- could not win a coin flip with my own same sided coin.

And yes the devilfish is right- what a bad event. Ten handed tables and a structure that is diabolical. Where were the 75-150 and 150-300 levels? whats the point of two day start for the event if u structure it like that. Again players treated like total dogs. It is  a crapshoot- just three hours in and its 2000 to go and 5000 to reraise. Great skill!

Why cant we have decent events?

John Duthies Monte Carlo EPT final showed the way and the Deauville event was not far behind.

Total joke from the Vic.

Good luck to Rumit and John Gale

Break at the moment...

Dave having a chat with Actual Chip Leader (sorry this changes every few minutes) Marc Goodwin... He has 84,000 after a run of big wins culminating in hitting a set of Sixes when someone's AK hit an Ace on the flop.  The opponent said "all in" without realising quite how many chips Mr. Cool was sitting on (40k) and with that coup, after a floor ruling that there was nothing to be done, Marc is in buoyant form...
