my thinking of the payout structure is that all though the amount of money between each level of payout now is large in % wise it very shallow and therefore a good time to be picking up chips untill around the 27-18 mark where the money jumps are larger

What is the official amount taken from winnings by the house?  Have heard 4%, 7% and 30% for non USA players for tax.  Is there a registration fee payable upfront on top of the $10K?

Thanks Ironside.

As a non American can you claim it all back or are you liable to tax and claim back any over payment.  Either way, how long is the process?

as a non american you can claim it all back depending on how long you stay in the usa each year

you are liable to your own countrys tax system though  in the uk it's tax free as it is classed as gambling

$1,000,000 as we have a tax treaty with the US.

When you arrive at the casino you complete a waiver form as a UK national and that allows the house to pay out in full
