I played at Luton a few weeks ago and Willie was moved to my table, whithin 5 minutes of sitting down he had berated two players for holding the game up by having a chat during the hand, told another one off for betting with small denomination chips and making things difficult for the dealer, sent his drink back because it had a slice of lemon and he had requested none, and took down the first pot he played with an all in move,
then, with a beaming smile he turned to me and said "Hello Mr Red Dog, I know you, I like your game"

I felt 10 feet tall

Well done Mr Tann, congratulations

Fantastic! Well done Willie!  Chatted with Willie a couple of times early on yesterday - yes I played it as well, but didn't get past level 3. He was doing OK then and one of the last things he said before we left was

'I had no luck on this trip, its about time I win one of these'.

When he was heads up, the other guy (some net qualifier) asked him for a deal as they were even stacked. Willie said "Sorry but no, I want the bracelet. If you want a deal, you must give me the bracelet. A few years ago I chopped it and took more money over the bracelet but I'm sponsored now and I want to give something back" What a star!

Hehe, bumped into Willie at the Wynn tonight. He let us (Flushie and me) try the bracelet on.  Got the photos to prove it.

Just got back but I would like to add my congrats to Willie on a well deserved big win, I saw him in Starbucks the morning after with Nottingham Nick and he gave me a big hug and told me I was good luck as I had spoken to him during the dinner break the night before, now if only I could have that effect on Tikay's game

Well done Willie.

A hug from Bobby1 would get me a Bracelet?

Hmm..... Now, I'd like a Bracelet very much, but a hug from a big geezer last seen being bodily escorted from a Ladies Toilet in Las Vegas.....?

Yeah right, we believe you....

Are you a cross dresser Bobby? (Cue reply from Red-Dog, "Cross, I'm bloody furious"....).
