It is unfortunate that I have to post this topic and it is in no way aimed at the vast majority (if not all) users of this forum.

It seems in the high profile world in which some poker players have found themselves in of late, that some fairly high profile players have started to be economical with the truth about donations to Poker4Charity / Game for Life.

It appears that some players have made claims regarding large donations to Poker4Charity / Game for Life when in fact no such donation has been awarded. This is obviously not acceptable, either for the charity itself or the vast number of honest poker players in the UK. We are very aware of the need for goodwill amongst the poker community but we cannot let a few people build reputations based upon non-existant donations. If they continue, Game for Life will be left with no option but to take relevant action against the individuals involved.

I apologise to users of this forum (none of which to my knowledge are connected to the incident reported to me) for raising this issue as they have been very generous to us in the past, and I hope this generosity will continue in the future.

If you are in any doubt whether a donation you have made has reached us please PM me as ALL donations are receipted.

Once again apologises to everybody for having to post this.

Ironside

Mate this post was no way aimed at you. You describe your support for P4C as small, I beg to differ - your support has been of collosal proportions. You are a giant amongst men, sir!

Hopefully piccies of your brand spnking new school in Sri Lanka will be with me at the end of the week.

Hope you are feeling well

RESPECT

Davey
