Having replied earlier in the thread i'm glad to read that "the curse" has been lifted. I remember reading a quote of yours from a thread about a month ago:

http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=7299.15

The half hour clock on the ept qualifier really suited my game and i'm really looking forward to the 90 minute clock at the event. Simply because you have a lot more chance to assess your oppos and find decent spots to get your money in.

Or another way, you are playing the worlds best players and they have more room to outplay you. Are you the shark or the fish in that field?

As for styles, i have always been a fan of the chip gathering style, its how i play, but of late its becoming very hard, there are too many people doing it! The 'rock' style is dying out, which is why i am switching too it! You always want to be in the minority in poker.

Do you think that your sudden downturn in form could have something to do with you trying to adapt your usual gameplan into something different to try and counteract the ever changing world of online poker?

Everyone who wants to stay one step ahead of their opponents in the murky depths of online poker needs to evolve their game from time to time if they notice that the tide is changing - but this evolution needs time to develop.

Glad to see that it isnt a one off either - get a few cashes under your belt and the confidence soon returns as well, then there's no stopping you thumbs up

Yeah Matt i think you may be right. I think the problem is i am stuck between 2 styles! Like you say its hard to make a change especially when i have had a rather unique style for quite a while. I think i will start doing what Red posted he does....i.e. explain evrey play i make as if i was talking to someone next to me through the game.

Cheers Matt
