How's Snoppys "fattening up" excercise going Boo?
Has he reached 4 stone yet?

LOL

The batteries in my scales have gone kaput so...

Somehow, I've lost over 2 stone in the last year. No idea how that happened.

Errrrr my chip lead was short lived as I BUBBLED ooops.

Gotta say I really enjoyed this event and my tables had fantastic table banter all night, the ipod was not required! The only downpoint was the open criticism of the hand where I lost a lot of chips near the end (easy when you see the button who has raised 5 in a row has QQ huh guys). Other than that, I hope for more of the same for the rest of the week and I will be a happy chappie by the end of the week win, lose or draw!?

Oh and keep an eye out for a young guy called Dan Carter dunno if he's still in but was playing VERY well and had the whole table tearing their hair out. He is playing all week I think don't underestimate him!

If only more players viewed the game that way - top Post by a Top bloke.

Dan Carter? Yes, he is quite special, I watched him demolish a good table in Luton 2 Fessies bck - most imprrssive, nice lad too.

Chunky Mick also bubbled.

The info is slowly trickling through Ralph!

The absence of a 75/150 & 150/300 level meant that Level 4 was 200-400, so with a 5k starting stack, there was no time to hang around. 26 players busted out before the first break at the end of Level 3. I gather 150-300 WILL be played in the Main Event.

JP - I am trying to sort out that matter we discussed. Will PM you.

JP's Post, in which his joy & enthusiasm for the game shone through like a beacon, (despite bubbling, he's still bubbly) reminded me of one Gentleman on my table last night.

Jaw grimly set, permanent frown, never a trace of a smile or any hint that he was enjoying himself. I politely asked why he played the game if it made him so miserable, he said he was "happy inside". Fair enough I guess, we all show our emotions in different ways.

Anyway, I set out to make him smile, & I eventually succeeded. His TT stood up against my AK suited & he busted me good & proper. That'll teach me.......

It's a weird thng, but I really do like to see people enjoying theselves at the table, & it almost tilts me to see "long faces". Guess it's an age thing.

He was seat 8 with the curly brown hair and mountains of chips. He has a good game for sure. What I enjoyed yesterday was that the main table I was on had some horrendous bad beats yet nobody complained and everyone just got on with it. It was a really fun game and I was genuinely not disappointed at all to finish 19th as I was playing for 1st and not to get my money back. Roll on tonight is all I can say!!

He has the look of David Gower about him, but the hair is brown, not blonde, & he looks to be very young, maybe 18-20.

Haha yes David Gower I see it now. Some of the players were going "He'll get caught soon" yet folding every time he raised was quite funny to watch.

He has informed me himself will try to keep out of his way before he challenges me to a strip poker game.
