Having been in a gambling environment all my life the strangest thing I ever saw was at York races one day. Two of my mates had just won £1000 each on a horse and then got into a full blown argument about who's turn it was to buy the drinks. Each accusing each other of being a tight sod.

I think that falls into the real money v gambling money.

I have a mate who is quite happy to put £500 on a horse and lose it but i've seen him go mental when he lost a fiver in a fruit machine!!!!!!!
