Ok, I’m here and ready to ride the rails all the way to a blonde victory

Congratulations to Jen for doing a fantastic job yesterday, she made updating and carrying tikay seem easy, just like a woman!

I had good chips early in the comp, and I was playing very positively,  4th street re-raises forced me to lay down top pair a couple of times, once to a stone bluff on a massive pot, the cards never forgave me

I’m feeling a bit jaded today, probably old age and one to many mornings, so I’m content to sit in my comfy chair enjoying the updates

Good luck to Snoopster, Matt and all the blondes, the drinks are on you when the ship comes in!

Btw, did Hollis Brown play yesterday?

Sorry - No Hollis Brown...

But Ben Grundy doubles up with the  too!  A huge old pot was already in progress against Chip Leader Ben Vinson (33k) on a flop of .  Ben (G)straightaway moved in for his remaining 20k or so, and Ben (V) called with , probably reluctantly but looking at both the pot and the flop as being too tempting.

Hopefully a good night's sleep will have turned off the Milkybarkid's Tilt switch...

And another one... The cat in the hat is Ian Woodward, whom I referred to as Monkey-hat-guy all yesterday.  Sorry.  His hat does have a monkey on it (pic if he allows me)

JP (pictured here sandwiched between J. Dahlbom (left) and Tim Gillig (black hat)) just ran into a spot of trouble bluffing Robert Garfield, who check-called the river with top and bottom pair, way ahead of JP's bluffy  .  Still plenty of chips for him though.

From forensically analysising both these updates I now conclude that Milkybarkids has been dealt six AA's in this comp

He won 5 times and then on the sixth occasion when Julian the Ace cracker cracked them he lost bundles.

Always the way!

A belated return by me, my Lappie worked fine at the Hotel, but has been giving me grief here, but I've fixed it now.

Lovely - LOVELY - Post by Irish Denis. He's a blonde, & he understands blonde. Nicely put, thank you Denis. When the chips are down, we look after our own. Denis is a terrific guy, very successful businessman, half-competent player, to whom middle age-spread arrived late.

Booder - Dylan references? Explain, please.

Red - I'm happy to give credit to Jen for carrying me. I mean, I'm a mere waif these days. How's the diet going?

wtf indeed. was a reason given for the ruling?
how can your hand be dead because 2 others act out of turn?

And my Hero Of The Day - Snoopy!  Holding on to his chips like they're glued to the table.  At least that's the impression I got from my 5 minute sojourn.

It was claimed that Booder "hid his cards" which he most deffo did NOT. The "bet line" in some parts of the tables is quite narrow, & Boo was sat, half hidden, behind the dealer in Seat 10. He was the Button, & the SB in Seat 1, the other side of the Dealer never realised Booder was in the hand, & "made up", the BB checked because the SB had made up - the domino effect took over - and then the Ruling was requested. It was ruled that the SB & BB had both "acted" (the BB had checked) & a mid position player pre-Boo had limped, so "action had taken place".

So, in effect, Boo did nothing wrong AT ALL - it was the SB who acted out of turn, NOT Boo hiding his cards, that caused the problem.

But Boo took it like the big man he is. blonde are well proud of him.

Laurent Charvet is OUT -

The Frenchman saw a chance against Dave Smith on a three diamonds  two spades board to push for his last 6k (holding ) and potentially take down the 9k pot.  But Dave called with  and knocked him out.

J. Dahlbom is also OUT - and the unenviable seat on JP's right has been filled by Luke Patten.
