Got to accept the bad runs as a consequence of having good runs.  I'd presonally rather have some amazing weeks and a bad week here and there rather than grinding out a steady profit each day.  Get such a buzz when you're running well.

Congrats on the 3rd M3, really don't know how I managed to come 4th after I built up a chip lead.  Don't think I played it badly just a few hands that didn't go my way (and the eventual winner hated folding preflop).

I play quite a lot of SnG's also (but not as many as I'd like) and have noticed a trend - allow me to explain....

if I'm on good form and I play tightly but aggressive I'll finish in the money 3 or 4 times out of 5...this boosts my confidence some what and i feel unstoppable....so, i play more cards and see more flops knowing that i can win - more often than not though i'll get sucked out by some fish and lose more chips than i'd like - thus you dont finish in the money and your confidence drops...as your confidence drops you either end up chasing cards and pots and lose more or your go back to playing a tight aggressive game and play like you did when you was winning....you then start playing your normal game, win pots, grow confidence back, play more cards, lose pots, lose confidence and so on and so on....

i try and play my normal game when on winning streaks but its hard...confidence and adrenalin soon control your emotions and that raise button starts to stand out more.... Cool

I had the great form in December every SNG i played I would hit the money , I then entered many crypto tournies and won the 3K guaranteed, a £10 buy In with 450 players and also come 5th where the winner got a seat at deauville, 2nd and 3rd holidays and I manged £600 for my placing and also placing at my local casino.

I do find that when you hit a good roll it continues and continues.

Then I attended the BB1 and returned to online poker only find server loss of form. I couldn't win any SNG or tournies and then found myself playings hands I usually kept away from. This went on for 6 weeks until enough was enough and I decided to have a break.

8 weeks later here I am not played a single hand and reloaded my bankroll in which I will start again on May 1st.

I just found playing 12-16 hours a day I got very stale, was it the lack of concentration through tiredness, or just bad luck either way I cant wait to start again.

I have taken a few days off (sort of - very reduced playing schedule, anyway), and have a few more days over Easter where I won't be able to play at all... so hopefully by next week I can crack on with it...
