I saw in the newspapers today, and therefore it must be true, the following

"England's footballers are going to be restricted to a £200 per hand cap in their World cup card school"

Shrek owes £700,000 to the Boy Wonder's bookie

To pinch a line from elsewhere

"How the hell does he get out of it now"?

blimey, he's going to have to work another couple of weeks to pay that off eh Cheesy

I was listening to some chat about this on the radio the other day (5Live) and apparently, debts with bookmakers aren't legally binding - they cannot legally make you pay and it's all on a 'gentlemens agreement'.  This is law is currently being reviewed they said.

Shall we all set up accounts then?

You'll generally find that if you owe a bookie £700,000 he's not thinking about legal avenues to recover his debt.

He's just going to send large men round.

Used to work in Krays territory, Walthamstow, East London, happy - & not so happy - memories.........
