Classic Stephen Pearce News Now -

I can't help getting the feeling that the bigger crowd he attracts by necessitating lengthy arguments and rulings, the more he acts up - but I couldn't tear myself away...

He raised to 3,000 from middle position, and a little scuffle broke out over how he'd bet it, unclearly, or a string bet, or all in one motion or not etc. etc. and the floor guy came over and warned him without actual penalty.  Then the small blind pushed in for about 6,000 total.
"I'd better look now, I haven't looked," said Stephen, "Is that an 'I want to give it a shot to double up' bet, or an 'I have a real hand' bet?"
"Bit of both," his opponent replied.

Eventually, talking about his rag Ace and something about the pot size, he called - showing  three clubs.  His opponent held the !
"I thought it would be a tough one," said Stephen, halfheartedly muttering about the flush even as he was resigned to losing the pot.  "Nice hand."

Peter Roche, accelerating up to 50,000, just doubled up a shorter stack in a pretty interesting pot...

On a flop of two spades , the preflop raiser checked, and Peter threw in 21k, over the other guy's stack.  After a long(ish) think, he was called, and showed  - he'd been called with .
Turn:
River:

And a 15k dent appeared in the seemingly unassailable Mr. Roche's stack.

Yongster -- 14k
Stephen Pearce (seated 2 away from tikay - eeeeek) -- approaching 50k
Rumit -- 13.5k
Trevor Reardon (after folding to a preflop reraise - reluctantly) -- 28k

Sorry, passed him in the corridor - he didn't look over the moon though.

Chili has been taking down a couple of reasonable pots, which must be helping regain that special confidence which is proportional to stack size... to her credit she did seem able to immediately move on and get involved again, without tilting, I might add.

Mickey is also on tikay's table.  He said he'd like to see the back of him.

No idea how Kev got these ladies to pose, or even exactly what they're doing here, but here you go - knock yourselves out...

I am convinced I know the one on the far right.  I am just tying to recall her name .

And here's Kevin O'Connell and Leona.  It looks like the lights may have gone out, but it's just Kev's misunderstanding with the camera flash.
