I always thought that messing with the bloke down the roads connection would be a recipe for disaster and tears before bed time

Hmmmm, well that backfired on me! Thought I would go for it really early on as I didn't know how much of the tourny I would have a connection. AQ utg with a small raise, blindes are only 30/60 and someone in late position re-raises to nearly 1k! So I thought "what the hell" double up with some luck, or on my way.....
Well, I was on my way! lol.
See you at the next one, and hopefully with my OWN connection!

Was out in 13th, A-K vs four callers, to a massive pot... flopped K-J-x, all-inned and one of them had K-J. Another had a flush draw and came along for the ride... to further reduce my outs Stallyon crushed his table during the 'bubble' and has a nice stack to play at the final table.

Bah, ran KK into AA in a battle of the blinds to go out in 3rd.
Stallyon still in, though with a huge chip deficit.
