Fair enough Baron, I can't believe we couldn't fill a 9 seater for this, there were 7 registered with a couple of minutes to the off & I presumed we would get a few last minute stragglers.

Line up looked as good as a bye as well  scared

With Iron back on his PC by Thurs and with a little earlier promotion from us two, we'll try getting Thursday's one going for yous.

As it happens, even though I cannot make the Event, I would have played the Satellite had I realised it was short of players. In the (unlikely) event that I won, I'd have passed the seat on to a blondeite at either a discount, or a "shared" no pay/split% thingy.

That's the flip side of not spamming it much in advance, or not much at all. It's that "balance" thing again.

Why not have the latest BP cardroom events in the (currently unusued) news box at the top left of the page?

It's on every page anyway...

"a little earlier promotion". Just be careful here Aaron. It's difficult to get the right blance here. The blondes have registered their disapproval of us over-spamming the card-room, so it needs hamdling carefully.

Too much - bad.

Too little = bad......!

I was at cincinnati this afternoon and was registered for the sat but had to pull out as i was still in the tournament at cin. There were at least 4 people there who wanted to but couldn't because of the tournament at cin. Tuesday and Thursday are the 2 busiest days at cincin. Is there no way the sat could be moved to a different time possibly Sunday afternoon to give the people who play at cincinnati on these days to have a go?

Thats  a good point but to be fair Baron wouldn't know this. He's tried to put on a comp. that was suggested & for one reason or another it hasn't quite worked out.

Sunday would prolly have less runners than tonight as its Celtic v Rangers.

I don't envy you your job Baron   Wink

I'm grateful for the sat's being on, i was sure there would be a good response. Does anyone now how much interest has been shown it the actual event yet?

P.S. Thanks for trying Baron

I will speak to Ironside tomorrow about a different day. Thursday's satellite will stay on there but I'll get another one added if people can generally agree a day for it.

tikay - lol, don't I know it boss! Wink

More feedback on this thread would be appreciated guys.

Thanks.

So Tribeca cant cope with a tournament with less than 9 entrants.......

So Tribeca cant cope with paying out more than 27 people regardless of the number of runners..........

So Tribeca have an awful blind structure with levels more suited to "turbo" tournaments.........

Please, could somebody remind me of the good points of the Tribeca software - surely they need to do something about updating their archaic software package?

27 soon to be corrected, blind structure is fine.
