Party poker has, over the last few years been widely quoted as being the most softest site with the most fish. However, because people like us know this is there not a danger of the site becoming 'shark infested'? I play regularly at Party and i 'get to know' many of the other regulars. Sometimes you can sit at a table with several familiar names. In addiction, i know of a few other players who play at different sites like poker metro for example and who claim that the poker is awful. Could it become more profitable to play at less well known sites?Huh???

Gambler's Anonymous is said to be good for addiction.

Simon,

people have been saying for years that party is the softest place, and despite the fears of "shark overload".. it continues to be the softest place... so I wouldn't have too much fear of that changing any time in the immediate future.

Nemesis,

those turks on boss media sure know how to give action! one of the funniest sessions I ever had was playing on the turkish currency (lira?) tables and trying to bluff these boys out of pots. .. after about 3 buyins I quickly learnt my lesson! I dont like the sluggish nature of the software though, runs too slow for my need for speed.

Are Freudian slips possible while typing too?

In addiction.......

Party are still the the fishiest site IMO. They spend the most millions on aggressive advertising, when most laypeople around the world think internet poker, they think Party.
Not too dangerous of them becoming too Shark infested, perhaps in part due to them treating their customers like dog poo.

I have a controversial theory that this a deliberate buisness strategy on their part, but I get laughed at whenever I mention it so will not bang on too much. Page 5 of this thread if you're interested.

I followed tightys advice on which site to play on and turned $100 cash into $1400 in one night, then turned into a fish myself and the sharks got me. It was if the software turned against me and I got every bad beat available. I know thats not true - I think I became too blase and thought I was unbeatable - which wasn't true either!

Now I base my chosen site for fish on a woman in Luton who plays internet poker.

When she tells me she has changed sites as there is a better one I move to it too, she is an ok player and once she gets beat on one site too much she moves. So my theory is she is a fish and when there are too many sharks she moves to get an easier game.

Today she is playing on .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Party players all look like Phil Ivey compared to the standard on one network, the one mentioned by Dingdell, Nemesis and totalise

Now this is public knowledge though I'll be moving on to fresher fishing waters, which will remain my secret  Cool
