Hello Alll,

I am new to the forum but have been reading for a while.

I live in the midlands and started playing poker in casinos about 8 years ago unfortunately i was permanently excluded from the local card room about five years ago for reasons i won't go into.

I don't know if a thread like this exists but could someone give me a run down on where the best live games are held inc which night, buy in, freezeout/rebuy etc i am in the middle so derby, walsall, wolverhampton, manchester, birmingham and nottingham (at a stretch) are all within range.

I am convinced i will win more if i can stare some people down!!!!!!!!

thanks

i can help u with manchester,

at grov Salford- regent way manchester
Sunday - 10 PL rebuy
Monday - 10 PL rebuy
Wednesday - 20 PL rebuy

all thease comps dont have dealers, but after the comps there is allways a good 50 Dealers choice game and a 20 Texas holdem game

at Stanley Circus - manchester
Tuesday - 20 PL rebuy
Wednesday - 20 NL rebuy
Thursday - 20 PL rebuy

i advice u book early for thease events, they have dealers, and also a free buffet after rebuy period, there is allways very lively cash games, 100 Dealers choice 50/100 Texas holdem

Sgt Yorks - Grovenor

thease guys just have a small cash game on a Friday night

hope this helps

Welcome ACE2MOUTH.

The blondeites are well spread around the Walsall, Notts, & Sheffield cardrooms, if you are promarily interested in the Midlands.

If you let us know which ones interest you, we will post the current schedules for that/those cardrooms.

We also often play online comps "mob-handed", & have just begun our own tourneys, which are a hoot. But there's no collusion or same village stuff - the bragging rights are HUGE.

Enjoy.

I am in Stoke so derby, manchester, wolves would be best. Notts, sheff, walsall are ok but will take a bit more travelling than ideal but for a good tourney it's not a problem.

thanks
