I am getting a few updates from tikay at the sportsman, I will post them on here rather than the live updates board as i dont know how frequent they will come in.

Comp started at 4pm.

Tikay is sharing a table with Stephen Pearce (ear plugs required) ..Carlo Citrone and Stuart Nash.

Dave Colclough is sharing a table with Tony Chessa, Brian Johnson, Jeff Duvall and Roland De Wolfe !! tough table .

Table 4 includes Barny Boatman, Irish open runner up Ian (awful shirt) Woodley, Steve Bovis, John Shoreman & Tony G !!

Thewy's Table includes Bambos

And Table 6 has Willie Tann, Luke Patten, Jeff Buffenburger (quality name) , Paul King, JP, and Big Dave Clarke.

Structure is as follows.



1 hour clocks all the way with blinds starting at 25/50, 50/100, 75/150, 100/200, 150/300, 200/400, 300/600, 400/800, 600/1200, 800/1600, 1000/2000, etc.

A 25 running ante beigns at 400/800

It has been decided that play will conclude at 4am (sunday night/monday morning) and remaining players will come back at 3pm on Monday.

considering he limped, it could have been anything, perhaps after the KK hand, his oppo could have put him on a pair of queens, or such ??

Surely if he says he has queens, then he hasn't, because if he did, his hand would be dead. (I've just read that sentence back to myself and it makes no sense to me either)
