try The Marsden Hotel, 15 Withnell Road, South shore, blackpool 01253 343751
run by a poker player apparently , will be staying there in over a weeks time for a poker bash
and a cheapy £20 a night with a licensed bar
If you go let me know what its like before I sleep there

The Marsden is very good value and only 100 yards or so from the casino.
Run by a very friendly couple who are happy to serve breakfast at 1pm.
My room was clean and comfy bed too. They even put a blanket up over the curtains for me to keep out the daylight.
I'm not sure if the owner actually plays poker himself, but they certainly cater to poker players.

Mrs Red and I always stay at the Marsden, as do many other players at festival time
Good food (breakfast in the afternoon)
Nice clean rooms
Friendly atmo
Cheap
