ok here is the set up broonie has been running over the table i had been down to 275tc after an accident when he called me with A4 he was up at nearly 5000 but i got my chips back as he was now playing as if he was invincilbe

the hand before this he let me see a free bb in which i flopped a set of two spades but slow played into a 3 flush so hadnt taken as many chips off him as i liked he had AA

so i called his steam preflop mini raise and this is the result

I'd raise to 900 here and be prepared to go all the way.  It's a 6 seater isn't it? So only two get paid.

I assume you checked in order to check raise, you should go ahead and do it, i go bigger and bet 1200 as i am prepared to get them all in here but would prefer it to end now.

What are his pre flop raise credentials? nut job or the nuts? If he has overpair you are getting re raised all in, on past form do you think he is likely to have an overpair? His bet suggests he may well have if he is a decent player.

in a one on one situation I think top pair 2nd nut flush is a monster. I see no real reason to reraise here , other than to disguise your flush draw a bit . I go for a call then check and see what he does on the turn.

i agreed with no flops and went for the 900 and the call if reraised

Ironside: raises 600 to 900
broonie2: raises 1655 to 2555 and is all-in
Ironside: calls 1655

broonie2: shows [ As]

back to back aces now how come in all my years of playing poker i havent had this

*** TURN *** [ ] []
*** RIVER *** [ ] []
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Ironside: shows [ ] (a flush, King high)
broonie2: shows [ As] (two pair, Aces and Fives)
Ironside collected 5410 from pot

good news i busted Aces in back to back hands

the guy was a little miffed at my play but i thought i played it right even if i needed to win a coinf flip when the money went in
