THis really did happen guys, It was late November of 2005, and it was a crushing beat, I was on tilt for ages ages afterwards. The odds on it happening were huge, but alas it happened. As for the dealers at Cincins they are all decent guys and I doubt they would be colluding with other players to take MY money, particularly at that time in the clubs infancy.
As for the doubting thomas's, This beat put all bad beats in to perspective for me, I no longer get too rattled when people hit the 5 outers on the river, its part of the game, i know I did nothing wrong in my play and the best you can do is get your money in with the Nuts and pray!!

If you want to know, maybe better to ask Billy in person or by pm rather than on the forum. Billy might be more inclined to answer.
After all, mystery player's play has been unequivocally bashed and it would be a little insensitive to publicly name them.
(That and they might shoot him)

If you must Know whos it is, I'll tell you on thursday when I'm in the club. Makes no odds to me, however I am not going to publicly name the bloke, he makes the same mistakes and I dont want that to change.
As for the £1000, He managed to win some big pots through more stupidity and luck than skill so he was stacked. To be honest Andrew I'm no fussed if you believe me or not, I know it happened, I had to come to terms with the beat and I had to endure the tilt from suffering the beat, There is no honour is saying I LOST close to a grand on 1 hand after hours of hard graft EARNING it in the first place. Where the sensible play would be to laydown the
preflop and walk out the door.

Billy

im not saying it didnt happen
im simply saying
if i was playing and this guy bet 1000 quid into a 90 quid pot with
on a board of
then went on to hit perfect perfect
to take me for 1000 quid i would be asking a few questions
i would take a bit of pesuading to be convinced that it was simply a bad beat

I know what you are saying, Its a crushing beat, and it was hard to take at the time, I am more than positive that there was no collusion involved, I trust the dealer who was on the table that night, He deals bigger games than the one i was in and he knows he would have got a good tim off me if i had walked away with my winnings.

That was a horrible beat with the AKspades , brought back a few memorys . Everytime I build my bankroll I ALWAYS jump stakes , I cant help myself ... I really cant resist ... Ill play for months on end 50c / $1 , then that one early morning ill do a rounders and play $50 $100 limit or a 15 30 NL - and obviously not play as I would In 50 / 1 and Ill lose
Then be back at Square 1.
