Nigel Turver is OUT in 14th place, winning £1,740

Very short stacked, he made a stand with , but found behind him which finished him off...

I think I can see Mike Lacy standing up from his seat.

Doesn't look good I'm afraid...

And Mike Lacey's remarkable short stack run comes to an end at 13th place, winning £1,740

He found an open spot in the cutoff with and pushed his 24,500 in - but it was hard luck that Mick McCloskey found in the small blind, and, finding himself dominated, he stood up as the raggy board came down to bring his run to an end.

R Mulla doubles through courtesy of Jules Adamson.

Mulla raises preflop from the cut-off, Adamson reraises from the small blind.

It's another 35k for Mulla to call, but he moves in.

Adamson sighs, but still goes for the call with A-Q. Mulla shows pocket queens.

Board = Two Diamonds

Incidentally, Jules Adamson's blonde alias is 'hartwith'.

So good luck to him from snoops.

Those spaced out final tables (each with 6 players) look pretty comfy compared to the heaving rest of the room - the £100 has settled down but it might be a while before we get unpacked.  Snoopy is getting ready to enteretain you with a photo round...

And here is blondeite 'hartwith', who, after losing his A-Q Q-Q confrontation, is now down to 95k.

Boy, it's bright in here.  Cool Cool Cool

Henning Saves Himself Some Chips News Now -

Twice in this round he's flopped top pair and been out-turned or rivered - once with hitting an A J Q flop.  Putting his opponent on a pair around Jacks, this made it a bit difficult for him to bet, so he checked.  The turn brought a Ten, and the river another one - when it was checked to him he thought about betting, and then thought better of it - which is just as well as his opponent had

Then he was in the big blind with JQ, and hit a Queen-high flop - but out of position to a limper it was checked - and two Tens appeared on the turn and river once again - making his opponent's a lot better at the end of the hand.  But he lost about as few chips as possible on these hands, and seems as confident as one can be that he'll make the final...he'd better - he's my last pick!  I can't let Snoopy be right about things..he'll start getting ideas.
