Extraordinary Pass News Now -

On Paul Johnstone's big blind, he announces that no-one better try raising him - but Henning, perhaps still a little shaken by his non-flop, just pushes in for his now short 60,000 or so.  Paul thinks for about a month, then passes, showing !
Henning shows him just the and I imagine there must have been considerable relief - Paul covered him by a good ways and that could have been that.

But it looks like that has restored our Scandie friend's good humour.

Paul Johnstone, on the other hand, just hit a perfect turn card against Iwan, putting him on a nasty decision for a 150k pot - Iwan had raised preflop and Paul called.
Flop:    something must have happened here to get the pot all juicy
Turn:   This is where I showed up and saw Paul already all-in and Iwan thinking about calling around half the pot - don't know how the money got there but I think it must have been a Iwan bet and a Paul raise.
"I've got top two pair," laments Iwan.
"But I know what you've got..." and he passes - and gets rewarded with the
"Why didn't you re-raise preflop?" asks Iwan.
"The only two hands I re-raise with are AA and KK.  Not even AK."
Well, there you go.

The Final Table Bubble Has Burst!  Rory Matthews is the 10th place finisher winning £2,370

He moved in front of Iwan Jones with , but Iwan woke up with another big hand - and it was curtains for Rory, who played strongly throughout the day, only to narrowly miss that final.
