This Saturday the 25th of March, Londonpokergirl Mel Lofthouse and her dedicated team will be opening the Towers Country Club again to up to 200 poker players for an afternoon tournament. The cavernous room will be packed with baize-covered tables as before for the £10 rebuy No-limit Hold'em event starting at 2pm, but this time it will be in aid of Poker4Charity. So if you're in the Didcot area this weekend, and feel like supporting a good cause while having a bit of good clean competitive fun, head towards the power station and bear left…
Details and preregistration are available on their website: www.palaceofcards.co.uk, and I would recommend looking this destination up before attempting to find it in the dark. Just from my own experience. In any case, the venue will be open for sit'n'gos from 12 Noon, and they will be carrying right along after you get eliminated from the main tourney. Best of luck though.
Future events coming up:
- Saturday 8th April, 2pm: £10 rebuy satellite to Monthly £100 Freezeout on 5th May
- Saturday 8th April, 8pm: £50 No Limit Hold'em Freezeout
- Friday 5th May, 8pm: £100 No Limit Hold'em Freezeout
