Dusk Till Dawn Appeal

As many of you are already aware, Dusk Till Dawn are facing an upcoming court case to decipher whether there is enough market for poker in the area for their live club to be given the green light. The situation, and subsequent postponement of initial opening date, arose after opposing chains suggested that there was simply not enough demand.

Dusk till Dawn, which is going for its gambling license in September, has to submit evidence on the 28th June in favor of obtaining a license. To counter the allegations Dusk till Dawn is now launching an appeal to the poker community to increase membership. The poker club has attracted about 3000 members but feels that the more sign ups it has the greater the chance they have in court.

A competition has even been set up where anyone who joins before the 29th June will be entered into a prize draw. Five names will be chosen at random and they’ll have $100 added into their DTDPoker account.

The club, if it acquires a gambling license, will be the biggest poker club in Europe offering seating for 405 players at any time and the first legal poker only club in the UK.

Rob Yong, Managing Director of DTD, says: “This will be our opportunity to prove that Dusk till Dawn will not only be good for Nottingham but the whole poker community throughout Europe.”
