Bolton and the Wild West aren't normally so closely associated, until now...
As well as holding their aptly named Lancashire Hotpot festival at the end of the month (click here for details), the Grosvenor Casino in Bolton is proud to present its hotly anticipated Wild West Poker League.
Commencing on the 3rd of September 2007, all players who play at the Bolton Grosvenor Casino will be awarded points towards the league with bonus points being allocated to those lucky few who make the final table.
Of course, with all leagues, there are a few potential discrepancies. For instance, what happens if two people are eliminated at the same time? In this case, the player with the most chips will be awarded the greater number of points.
The same applies for any deals. If the inevitable happens, chips will be totted up and the player with the most will earn the highest amount of points, the next man, the second highest, and so on.
The Wild West Poker League will run up to Sunday 16th December 2007 at which point a playoff will take place between the top 60 players with the winner taking home a brand spanking new Vauxhall Astra which will be the envy of their friends as they bomb down Moor Lane.
Finally, if you possess one of the leaflets outlining the terms and conditions, then make sure you pop it down to Grosvenor Bolton to collect your free drink voucher. Remember though, don't drink and drive!
