Sky Poker, the first multiplatform poker room, has launched The Club, a new interactive TV show that puts the poker player at the very heart of the show. Hosted by Sky Sports News’ Dan Lobb and poker expert and author Matt Broughton, The Club provides an interactive forum for players to share and discuss everything from their best home game experiences to their worst online bad-beats. The Club airs on Sky Poker every weekday night at 8.30 pm on Sky Poker channel 846.

As an interactive format, The Club offers viewers a variety of ways to get involved with the show:

-- Players can email The Club with photos of their favourite poker moments; from big pots in their weekly home game to experiences during their last trip to Las Vegas. The Club also features viewers’ own footage, be it mobile phone videos of home games or webcam recordings of live reactions to bad-beats and big wins. Emails can be sent to TheClub@SkyPoker.com

-- Viewers can ask The Club’s hosts and guests to “Play My Hand”, with the experts analyzing and reviewing players’ hands and offering advice, congratulations or – where necessary - commiserations. To have hands featured on “Play My Hand”, Sky Poker players must email their screen name, the hand ID, the tournament details, and an approximate time to TheClub@SkyPoker.com.

-- The Club also features advice on how to play all the games on offer at Sky Poker.com - as well as tips from the experts in the studio - all with the aim of aiding, educating and improving the nation’s poker players. The Club also goes out and about, bringing viewers all the action from UK poker events, from the big British tournaments to the weekly games in their local pub.

-- The Club also highlights and features winners from the various tournaments available on Sky Poker, including the likes of Velocity and Slow Boat, as well as Sky Poker’s big nightly tournament, The Open.

The Club features regular guests and present new names from the world of poker. Viewers can also expect to see some familiar faces from Sky Poker’s The Open making regular appearances.

Viewers can contact The Club via its dedicated hotline on 0208 8908 846, where they can leave messages for the team. Callers will then be contacted and could find themselves appearing on The Club, sharing bad-beats and quizzing the pros live in the studio.

In addition to being aired on Sky Poker Channel 846 at 8.30 pm every weekday, The Club can also be viewed online at www.skypoker.com at the same times.
