After seeping off all the words from the grapevine, your reporter feels obliged to highlight an intriguing rumour that has been bouncing around the poker world.
According to a number of sources, plans are being made for 6 of pokers biggest superstars to hit the felt for a mere 10 million dollars a pop. The scenario would be a 6-handed STT with a humoungously ginormous pot of 60 million bucks! If such a game were to take place, then it would surely push the game of poker to new found extremes.
A few potential names that have been branded about are Phil Ivey, Barry Greenstein, and poker legend Doyle Brunson. All three are known to frequent America’s highest stake cash games, so it would be no surprise to many if they were to stump up the cash.
Word on the street is that one Anthony Kendall is also contemplating buying in to the event, although this rumour has yet to be confirmed.
