Every so often, an event comes along that shocks the nation, sends the world hurtling into a spinning spiral, and, at times, even provokes a reaction from the umoving facial expression of Phil Ivey. Yes indeedy, folks, the blonde bash is back, and this time around, we are proud to announce that the hosts will be the recently erected Dusk Till Dawn poker club in Nottingham.
Famed for its long drawn out battle with the courts, Dusk Till Dawn struck gold in the Autumn of 2007 when they were given the 'all-clear' to open the doors to what has become one of, if not the, best places to play poker in Europe. And now, in conjunction with the good peeps at blonde poker (hey, that's me!), you can taste the action yourself by attending the highly anticipated blonde bash 6.
On the weekend of May 10th, Dusk Till Dawn will host the 6th outing of the blonde bash. As per usual, the blonde bash will offer poker aplenty in the form of multis, STTs, cash games and the world famous (cough) heads up competition. As well as this pouring of poker festivity, the DTD bar will be open as usual to let you drink the night away with whatever alcoholic aid your liver desires.
The Main Event will be a highly affordable £30 No Limit Hold'Em Freezeout with a £5 registration fee. Capacity for this event is 300 players, so be sure you get in quick by posting your name/alias on our acceptances thread on the forum. Click here to view that thread and enter the competition. Entry will also be available through the Dusk Till Dawn'online site.
After Saturday's Main Event, we'll be heading into Sunday full steam ahead with not only our customary blonde poker quiz, but also an affordable Pot Limit Omaha freezeout to give players a taste of something other than Hold'Em.
Unfortunately, not every Tom, Dick and Harry can turn up unannounced. No siree, we run a tight ship here at blonde, so anyone who wishes to join in with what will be a top notch weekend of fun and frolics, must have an account on the blonde poker cardroom.
